Default subtitle settings
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Subtitles are always a manual process. This causes batch-adding files into the queue by drag and drop to lose their subtitles.
Describe the solution you'd like It would be nice to have the option to have some subtitle default settings within the preset saves. I know somewhat similar requests have been made in the past some years ago and the result was Handbrake didn't support these, thus Vidcoder can't either (which makes perfect sense). However, from what I am told and understand, is that Handbrake does support subtitle defaults within presets now. So I would assume the ability would be possible in Vidcoder. I just want to be able to drop batches into Vidcoder and hit go and walk away. It is always one of the greatest apps out there (IMO). This would seal the deal :)
Have you tried looking in the Picker window to auto-select subtitles?
Didn't see the option as I guess I didn't know what that was for (hah). However, I literally just downloaded the beta to play with about a half-hour ago. Since that mentions the picker settings next to the subtitles, I have now familiarized myself with the window. I don't think I've ever clicked on the icon for it before in the normal version.
The Beta version is looking good. The settings window shows up half-transparent when I open it (have to drag it down and mostly off-screen and click and drag it back and everything displays (kind of odd). Though I figured I'd read through the chatter about it first as I'm sure that's already been pointed out.
Another reason that this is one of the best things out there 8-)
