Turbo second pass
I wonder if something might be wrong: My settings are 2-pass Encoding and Turbo first Pass. According to the progress bar first pass it in 2 steps: first one pass within at minute and then around 45 minutes for a 2-hour video clip. Then second pass begins in the exact same way: One pass within a minute and then 45 minutes afterwards. First and second pass takes exactly the same time. Not much turbo on the first pass then. Is this behavior correct?
Can you provide an encode log so I can see what encoding settings you're using?

That quick first pass is the subtitle scan pass. It looks like I passed the "fast first pass" correctly into the HandBrake encoder. It's probably an issue with the HandBrake engine. Though I would recommend using quality targeting.
