Picker, Queue, add all titles... not adding more than 1 title

Hello. I'm using VidCoder to rip a bunch of Yoga DVDs that my wife bought to video files so I can put them on a flash drive for her to just plug into our TV.

I am trying to use the picker to automatically pick only the titles that are longer than 5min or so... I picked "All titles between 5 and 50 minutes" but it's only picking the first title that matches. I have a FABulous app that lets me rip the DVDs to AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders, as well as rip straight from the disk. Neither option works.

There are 4 DVDs, each with 4 15min routines... so I expect to get 4 from each disk, and 16 total. When I select the folder that contains all of the *_TS folders of all 4 DVDs in the set... it adds only 4 titles - the first one of each disk... so the queue thing is working, but the picker is not.

Any help?

Sorry it took me so long to get to this. I was assuming it was some bug I had to fix, but I can't reproduce your error. Can you be more specific about the structure of the folders and how you are trying to queue them?

So... I've got this stack of Yoga workout DVDs, each with FOUR 15-min tracks. Think like an episodic disk from a TV series... Episodes 1-4 on Disk 1, Episodes 5-8 on Disk 2... etc.

I wanted to auto-queue all tracks greater than 4min (for example) so that it would just grab the 15min workouts, and not the other stuff like menus, credits, etc.

The picker would only queue up the first track that met the criteria (Track 2, for instance)... not ALL tracks (Tracks 2, 3, 4, 5). When I do one disk... I just get Disk1_Track2. When I do a whole folder (that contains 4 disks ripped to VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS), I only get Track 2 from EACH DISK in the folder... Disk1_Track2, Disk2_Track2, Disk3_Track2, Disk4_Track2. I would expect to get 4 tracks from EACH DISK. I get 1 track from each disk.

So... the "greater than 4min" picker is only grabbing the first track that is greater than 4min... not EVERY track.

I hope that's clear. Let me know if you need more information.

Hmm. Can you send me your VidCoder.sqlite file? It would be in %appdata%\VidCoder or %appdata%\VidCoder-Beta . Let me know which Picker you have selected.

I'm having this same issue. I have a DVD with 7 different video titles. I use an automated disc ripper to import DVDs, so it just import the VIDEO_TS folders. When I drop the folder into VidCoder, it only adds the first title on the disc. If I drop the folder into Handbrake, it shows that there are 7 titles on the DVD, and if I select "Add All to Queue" it adds all 7 titles correctly.

It seems VidCoder works just like Handbrake, in so far as if you drop a single DVD into VidCoder, it loads it so you can make your adjustments and you can either add a single title to the queue, or you can select multiple items to the queue. A couple things here: it would be best if by default it select to add all titles. Sometimes DVDs can have 10s of titles. It's not fun to have to manually select 50 titles. Further more, if in the picker you select "Automatically Queue after Scanning" it will ONLY add the first title on the disc. The same thing happens if you drop multiple DVD folders into VidCoder. It will only add the first title from each disc dropped into VidCoder.

Just tested with the Picker option "Pick only titles from x to y minutes", and it adds all of them. By default it only adds the "main" title as determined by the HandBrake API.

I will have to try this again, but when I last tried it, I believe I entered pick titles between 0 and 999 minutes, and it still only added the first title.
