Bizarre Encoding-Settings Behavior
Problem Description
This is a really minor problem, but it may relate to something else that I haven't encountered that's more important.
I have a number of tweaked, custom-named encoding profiles. If I select profile A, start a conversion, then select profile B (because that's my "default"), wait for the conversion to finish, close VidCoder, and then (separately) delete my browser history, when VidCoder is restarted the initial encoding profile will be selected at random from among the built-in profiles. It won't be either profile A or profile B.
This is a really minor thing; VidCoder happily accepts my manual reselection of profile B, correctly does the conversion, and will remain on profile B for the next session. This doesn't happen when shifting between build-in profiles, or between a built-in profile and a custom profile, or if selecting the new profile while no encoding job is running, or without deleting my browser history. All of this leads me to believe that there's something in a temporary setting somewhere that's misbehaving, and is being written into/read from Windows default temporary space.
What version of VidCoder are you running?
11.11 VelopackInstaller
Encode Log
The last selected profile should be stored in %appdata%\VidCoder\VidCoder.sqlite . But if that file was deleted, you'd lose all your profiles, not just the last selected one. Not sure what's going on there.
