Replacing files does not always work

Problem Description

If I am encoding xxx.mkv using the option to replace the file (also .mkv), the old file goes away leaving a new file with a name of xxx-1.mkv. Can this be corrected?

What version of VidCoder are you running?

It should be overwriting without generating a new name if you have When file already exists: Overwrite. Do you also have Output to Source folder enabled? Also an encode log would help.
