Forced Subtitles ONLY Not Working Correctly
Problem Description
I have a preset setup with the options shown above, so that when i drop a TV show into VidCoder, it "should" select any "Forced" subtitles and burn them in. Only problem is, it's still selecting a subtitle when it's not a "FORCED" option.
What version of VidCoder are you running?
12.0 Beta

"Forced only" means it will filter the chosen track and only pick out specific lines that are marked as "forced". It doesn't help choose between subtitle tracks.
That's interesting, because when i did drag a MKV into it, it selected the subtitle with "Forced" in the track Name. But i suppose it's possible that the "forced" name subtitle was #1 in the list of subtitles. I'll have to check that.
And i'm curious how a SRT file marks a subtitle as "Forced"? SRT is the most common subtitle added to shows.
Ok i was right in my guess. The "Forced" named subtitle was #1 in the list of English subs. That's why it selected it.
Extracting the "Forced" subtitle, it created a SRT file. I had to rename it to .txt to add it here.

Is there a way you can change the "Forced Only" option to check for the word "Forced" in the subtitle name? And then apply that subtitle.
I'm not going to change what the "forced only" option does. It's meant to pick out parts of an audio track that are forced. There is no way to know if a particular track is supposed to be a "forced" track or not. There is no guarantee that it will be named in a certain way.
It would be possible to allow setting a regex to match the track name, which would be flexible enough for what you want.
