This option helps to process a folder containing several files at different resolutions. AFIK, a single resolution set by resizing is applied on all files.

What exactly do you need it to do? VidCoder already has an "automatic" sizing mode that can handle any resolution input. You can specify max dimensions, etc. If you want every file to have the exact same resolution, you can choose Manual, though you'll probably get worse looking results that way.

If you want to just pass through the resolution on the source video you can choose Automatic and remove the max size.
