Watch folder weird behavior
Problem Description
Hello,to everyone!!!
I have the latest beta (8.9),and i have 3 questions about watch folder:
1.How often does it refresh? It scans a few times (3 to 5),and then it stops...New files keep adding up in directory,but......
2.From BETA version,is missing "Recognized extensions",so the watch-folder feature misses files....STABLE is fine
3.Sometimes while watchfolder adds files,scan process stops scanning,unless i have "use worker precess to encode = NO"

What version of VidCoder are you running?

- It registers at the system level to be notified of any file change events in the watched folders, so you should see the files show up within a few seconds. If that's not happening, likely the watcher process is having an issue.
- The Recognized extensions setting moved to the Picker window.
- Can you look in %appdata%\VidCoder-Beta\Logs and send the latest Watcher.txt log file over? That will help me figure out what is going on with your watcher process.
1.Hmm,it keeps happening...I waited from minutes to hour,but nothing.IF i restart watcher,it scans without any problem 2.My mistake.....didn't see it.... 3.Yes,i will try to replicate the situation and send the log
1.The same.. 3.IF i "pause" encoding,while scanning,the scanning finishes without a hitch....Old hard drives maybe??Mechanical HDD ,not SSD
I'm having the same issue as number 1, it works for a few files and then stops detecting new files until I disable and re-enable it. Sometimes it adds new files with Status Planned but it never encodes. This is on the latest stable 8.21.
After it stops working can you look in %appdata%\VidCoder\Logs and send me the latest Watcher.txt log?
