iCloud syncing not working (Mac)

I use NetNewsWire on Mac (Version 6.1.9 (6135)), iPad (6.1.8 (6146)), iPhone (6.1.8 (6146)). All my feeds are under iCloud. Note iPad and iPhone versions are from TestFlight.

On the iPhone and iPad syncing works great. On the Mac it stopped working a few weeks ago while still on 6.1.8. I deleted all settings on Mac to try to have it start from anew, and if finds no feeds under iClouds.

All other iCloud services on this Mac appear to be working correctly.

Experiencing the same thing since a week or two ago. Used to sync with no problems, now they don't sync with each other.

Mac: Version 6.1.9 (6135) iPhone: Version 6.1.8 (6146)

Found a workaround. Not sure why I didn't try earlier:

Go to Settings... -> Accounts. Remove then re-add iCloud.

YMMV

I'm having a similar issue with iCloud syncing:

  • MacOS 14.7.5
  • NetNewsWire 6.1.9

and

  • iOS 17.7.2
  • NetNewsWire 6.1.8

I use NetNewsWire much more frequently on my phone, so when I opened the app on my computer, I:

  1. Noticed my computer had far fewer feeds than my phone.
  2. Manually synced the computer. This pulled in new articles, but not new feeds. I'm sure the app synced when I first opened it as well.
  3. Manually synced the phone.
  4. Manually synced the computer.
  5. Searched NetNewsWire issues, and discovered this one.
  6. Disabled the iCloud account in NetNewsWire on my computer.
  7. Re-started NetNewsWire on my computer.
  8. Enabled iCloud syncing in NetNewsWire on my computer.
  9. Most, but not all, feeds synced.

At this point, the feeds are in sync, except my computer is missing:

I have tried disabling and enabling iCloud sync on my computer several times without any change. Article state seems to be synced properly between my phone and computer, but the list of feeds is incomplete.

Is there anything I can do to help root cause this issue while my devices and apps are in this state? Any logs or experiments?

I have this problem too. Sequoia 15.5 NNW 6.1.9

The solution in the previous post doesnt help.
