pinged the perl NOC (webmaster...) to see if this is in their area.

Spoke with robrt - some notes:

• Renaming the list is hard
• Creating a new list with same membership easy
• Want to avoid aliasing lists
• Do we even still want a mailing list? What about:
  • discourse
  • topicbox.com
  • google groups
• we could consider running our own mailing software on raku.org infrastructure (since we'd still be @perl.org with the current setup)

A discord group already exists as far as I can tell. At least we have one bridged to the IRC channel.
