[Feature request] Disable auto marking messages as read
Many people mark mail as read only if they fully processed message, not only read. For this most of mail programs and web client (for example, RoundCube) have option "Do not automatically mark as read". Will be good to see same option in RainLoop too.
Also will be good to see buttons "Mark as read", "Mark as unread" in toolbar for quick change read status.
As a workaround, you can disable message preview (also works in Apple Mail). You can then open a message with Enter (twice for fullscreen), close it with Esc, trash it with Delete, switch messages with Ctrl + [Up/Left] / [Down/Right].
Options to mark as read/unread are available in the More button (as well as using the U and Q keys).
We used shared inboxes for things like "sales" and "office" that several of us handle, and we really rely on leaving mail marked unread as a way of indicating whether each one has been handled or not. But the other reason I'd like to see this "feature" be something that can be disabled is that it doesn't seem to me to work perfectly unless the mouse is used to click on each message, and then one patiently waits for it to become "read". My preference is the use the arrow keys to select the next message and sometimes it appears unread even though it is read.
I do very much like Rainloop and I hope in the future I can disable the mark-read-when-opened behavior.

I don't think this has been implemented at all yet. I have cloned the repository and looked into doing it myself but have not figured it out quite enough.
The development seems to have gotten very slow, too.
Meanwhile I use rainloop all day long as my main email-checking system. I just spend a lot more time clicking on "Mark Unread" than I would like to!

I find it annoying to mark a message unread after I deleted the message above.
My suggestion: There should be a configuration "Mark previewed message as read:" with the options "Immediately," "After XX second(s)," and "Never".
