Add one more field to movie parameters

Not a problem.
I suggest separate "Edition" and "Frame"
Edition relates to timeline like – Director's Cut, Theatrical, Extended
Frame Cut relates to picture – IMAX, OpenMatte, BD, 3x4
Now we have only one field "edition"
Describe the solution you'd like
Make two fields instead of one
Describe alternatives you've considered
Patrially we can make it with custom formats. But it will work only in case filename already have all needed tags. But if something missed in filename – I don't have ability to set it manually.
As an option I can rename file manually and then reimport again to be able to parse it with CFs.
Anything else?
Nothing)
Is Frame Cut even supported by any media player to even make sense?
But yes, you could use custom formats for this such thing.
I'm already using CF but have to go to server FS and rename movie manually to achieve that. It is more related to proper comparison while grabbing than to players.
As an option it could be not another one field but just like list of "edition tags"
I'll leave to @Qstick to decide, but for me this can be fixed by using a custom format. Edition made sense to be added since it's supported by media players by being shown as separate movies.
I'm not sure the players is so good reference because they even don't understand "quality". Only media info.

Yes but I'm about bdremux/bdrip/webdl/webrip etc.
Players don't understand it. Multi-version from your example is just "mediainfo" as I've mentioned above.
To be honest at this point I have no clue what you're talking about.

I mean that "edition" in plex is the same as edition in radarr. Version in plex usually means something similar to its "optimized versions" when it makes different encodes for the same source.
I will play with it in plex and come back.
Skip the versions part, I linked that extra article for the examples to have a better view of the naming in plex.
Skip the versions part
🥲🤌 Then back to my first comment about "players don't even understand the qualities, only mediainfo" 🧘♂️
