Magic "lef write -hide" running out of memory for large designs?

This is to keep track of this issue: https://github.com/efabless/openlane/issues/26, where @harikumar27399 is hardening a relatively large design. Magic takes forever and then crashes on a machine with 6 GB of RAM and 6 GB of swap.

I will post the routed DEF once @harikumar27399 sends it.
