Are there plans for supporting API access for uploading and downloading data sets? Or, in other words, do you intend on publishing the Django API and keeping it stable?

You're not the only one who's requested this functionality -- while it's not currently under development, we do believe this would be a useful feature and are considering it for our next major release. I'm going to keep this open to keep the discussion going, and to provide updates if we do end up making progress.
