w/o the header, experience following compiler errors:

error: use of undeclared identifier 'RTLD_NOW'
error: use of undeclared identifier 'RTLD_LOCAL'
error: use of undeclared identifier 'dlerror'
error: use of undeclared identifier 'dlsym'
error: use of undeclared identifier 'dlclose'
