Voices are no longer as crisp as they used to be
On Arch Linux, I did updates today, and went from Rhvoice 1.8.0 to 1.16.5. After the upgrade, voices seem somewhat muffled compared to the way they used to sound.
The voice example please?
Ok, here is a wav file with both versions. Version 1.8.0 is first followed by 1.16.5. I apparently can't attach the wav file here, so link is: https://stormux.org/downloads/RHVoice-sample-lyubov-1.8.0-and-1.16.5.wav
@stormdragon2976 So, apparently, not voices, but voice. That what you are meaning by crispness, the Lyubov lost her basses on the old vocoder. This is retrained with world, and we are thinking about better audio processing.
Ahh, it does just seem to be Lyubov. That's my daily driver voice, so was the one I tested. I now tried BDL and it sounds the same. For now, I'll just stay on 1.8.0 and try again when the new audio processing is implemented.
The bdl was not changed in any means, so it is strange that you experinece muffled voice with him even on linux. Have you tried other platforms?
I am sorry, I think my response was unclear. I meant to say there is no change in BDL. It sounds the same in both versions, the only changes are in Lyubov, as in my example.
