I don't have good experience with signatures, I think you need to re-sign with your key after building/restoring signatures. @Kirlif Can you help us here ?
What is the logic to filter "extra strings" that works for all apks ?
Try new (beta) update To activate advanced features clone and build with: `./gradlew betaJar`
Maybe i misunderstand your question, merge command already accepts compressed apk files including XAPK, APKM, APKS ...

Did you find .apk files inside those tmp directory ? Which OS are you using ?
I don't have windows machine, confirm 1.3.7 solves this issue
