Search History

When I am researching a topic I am usually searching on more than one keyword.

When on different web sites I find that I must switch back and forth between typing\pasting one word in the find bar on one tab and then I open a new tab and I need to search on the other word so I need to type or paste the previous word back in.

If it is possible to make the input box a dropdown list with editable history that would be great! By editable I mean that I should be able to delete items individually or clear all. Bonus if I can edit an item to fix spelling for example.

Another super bonus would be if the dropdown list items each have a checkbox next to them so I can check multiple items that will all be highlighted on the page.

Thank you so much for this great add-on!!

I have been thinking about something similar to this. To edit history entries would be too much, sorry. Also a multiple selection would be very handy indeed. Even though you'll be able to do this in the search field itself when regular expressions ( #56 ) are finished, I'll see about adding the same functionality in this list, together with #76.

I don't know if there's a way to 'vote' for this feature request... but even without the editing ability this would be a great improvement, it's standard on many text editors
