The users must have an option to backup their library before downloading a major update. Like there should be a short wizard to backup the library before downloading the update.

There is already an auto-backup option that makes a backup quite often. Is that not enough? (Though I do like your idea)

Saw this just after I updated without doing this and got everything deleted 😭😭
