Load comments from cache unless outside the refresh cached posts setting

Open PurpleCodingWizard opened this issue 9 months ago • 1 comments

Redreader in older versions used to load cached posts which was super fast even on my older low end 2016/2019 smartphones. Unfortunately, some updates (around or before the apocalypse) it stopped doing that and now it connects to the network for new data which even on 5G and high speed wifi is slow especially when its doing that for every post.

Can you follow the old behaviour of loading cached comments based on post cache time, or add a toggle if you cannot for some reason? Sometimes, I have spotty connections even on wifi and having to wait seconds for comments to load which are already cached is annoying.
