Still haven't had time, but if I run all `SF.WaitForPlayerInit` hooks on everyone manually I can see that every player currently ingame gets the files corrected again for each entity....

Does this happen only if you have multiple streams visible at the same time? Is your GPU intel? Are you running with acceleration? For me I get similar very gradual...

Also experiencing this with wiremod's gma and game.MountGMA in x86-64 branch in 64 mode.

It seems if you get this error and increase the reference count by duplicating a prop with the material until the count hits back to 1, the material starts working...

You can trigger the so called lagspike with "sv_cheats 1" and "cl_fullupdate".

Can confirm it did not work (server=main branch client=x86-64 branch). Server did print the connect message and showed my steamid as connecting but I got the "timed out" on client....
