Custom loading screen between dimensions from OptiFine

Currently, if you have a pack that have a custom loading screen when you change of dimension (located in "assets/minecraft/optifine/gui/loading", see this doc ), but don't want to use / can't use OptiFine, you have no other options to get it working (at least I didn't find any solution) Is it possible, or even is it planed to add this implementation into the Puzzle mod ?
