problem while constructing cnc machine

Hallow sir/madam.. I am constructing cnc machine using arduino uno,cnc shield,a4988 motor driver and PK264-03B stepper motor. the software which i am using is grbl controller 3.0

problem that i faced that x axis is working well but y axis motor is not working but y axis motor is being energized and holding torque while it is working. I will be highly grateful if you give me the solution.. Thanking you
