Take Lane Change Restrictions into Account
Tagging scheme for restricting lane change:

We should take restricted lane changes into account especially in combination with none lane tags.

This tag seems to be mostly relevant close to intersection. At specific locations it might be nice to have, but I wouldn't consider it a priority for the moment.
In the United States, express lanes, HOV lanes, and to a lesser extent collector-distributor roads are typically separated from the main highway only by a solid white line or double white line. In those cases, the lanes are unlikely to be mapped as separate ways; instead, they’d ultimately be mapped with change:lanes on the main motorway. Hopefully our lack of support for this tag wouldn’t for instance cause us to tell drivers to weave through traffic and cross a solid line.
Just one example:
(Express lanes aren’t only for HOV; some are separated from local lanes but still open to all traffic.)
In the United States, express lanes, HOV lanes, and to a lesser extent collector-distributor roads are typically separated from the main highway only by a solid white line or double white line.
One example is Interstate 85 near Atlanta, which will likely be mapped via change:lanes, hov:lanes, and toll:lanes tags rather than a separate way.
Lane change restrictions are especially relevant to instruction timing in turn-by-turn use cases. An extended turn lane may be difficult and illegal to enter by the time a naïve implementation unaware of this tag gets around to delivering the instruction.
This is very relevant here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/27764289 There is a continuous line, described in the change:lanes tag over the whole bridge. If the driver doesn't change to the rightmost lane before entering the bridge, he will not be able to legally leave the road on the exit at the end of the bridge. This results in illegal and dangerous last minute changes, or lengthy detours. By the way, Google maps routing gets this wrong as well...
Any updates on this? I think It's a very necessary feature.
