[FIX] frequency of display are reseting on every reboot

Open SaiyajinK opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Hi all,

I recently discovered this nice ghit rep (thanks to its creator!) but I also noticed "a problem" with the file : Windows Service Control v26.10.2023.bat

Indeed when you disable unnecessary services and tasks, each reboot the display frequency will reset to 59.95Hz (I have a 144hz screen).

To fix this problem and that the reboot or standby does not reset the frequency of the user-defined screen you will need to delete 2 lines from the script.

Line 1057 delete : sc config DisplayEnhancementService start= disabled

Line 1104 delete : sc config DispBrokerDesktopSvc start= disabled

Save modifications.

I hope this helps those who will be faced with the problem! 👋🏻
