Compressible "fillin" in LaTeX output
The \fillin macro in the LaTeX conversion has a code comment
%% Length may compress for output to fit in one line
Making static versions of Runestone fillin-the-blank problems and this seems too aggressive. Can we soften it? Perhaps something like no less than 80% of requested length?
Screenshot shows a 5-character-wide blank as third word of Problem 20. Solution to problem 20 has 1-character-wide blanks surrounding correct answer. Problem 21 should have a 5-character-wide blank as fourth word. A long word at the end of the line, LaTeX line-breaking, and squishy macro, are making it look like it is 1-character wide (or less!).
Ideas, @Alex-Jordan? Pinging @bnmnetp so he's aware.

Discussion from Drop-In with @Alex-Jordan.
The minus construction in the LaTeX macros for underline and box forms of fillin need a second length to get limits on the shortest possible version (which is currently zero).
