@Waywardnl, It's most likely that the libcrypto.dll is not there. on a cmd.exe, run .\sshd.exe -ddd to find out the error

I don't know if it's relevant to your case but i had the same error on versions 8.9.1.0 and 8.9.0.0 when using Subsystem with -d parameter, like this. I had to downgrade to 8.6.0.0 to solve it.
