Categories browser / Only open first level

In the categories browser when you open an element:

all it's children and children of children opens, which produces a weird result:

We should open just the immediate level, so we would get:

[Crashillo]

This commit included such feature. I've tried to revert it but I got some .rb conflicts, could you take a look @ferblape?
