This does not work on real hardware
Hi,
I wanted to test this on real hardware and it didn't start, just a black screen, nothing else.
HW: New Nintendo 2DS XL (it's backwards compatible), Nintendo DS Light All of this was tested with an R4 Gold cartridge.
This game is coded for homebrew. Not for official support. You have to mod your console
I know this was a while ago,
but try using TWLoader on a modified 3DS (not sure if this will work on twiilight menu on DSis), TWLoader seems to run the game as if it was a normal DS game.
However, the black screen issue seems to only occur on TWLoader if you were to run the game in DS mode, so run it in DSi (Might have to set ARM speed to 133Mhz instead of 67Mhz) and it will run perfectly fine.
So in a sense, this is probably "technically" a DSi game, not a DS game (I would test it on a DSi, but I don't have one, my 3DS is the closes thing I have when running in DSi mode)
Btw, flashcarts are usually for DS consoles, DSis and 3DSs will just treat it as a DS cartridge unless maybe there's some company manufacturing special DSi flashcarts? idk I haven't been on the homebrew train for a while.
