Gen 7 Location Areas and Encounters

No encounters or location areas for Gen 7 have been added.

For example: https://pokeapi.co/api/v2/location/711/, which is Alola Route 1, gives the expected information except for areas which is:

Is there any word on whether progress for this part of the data is being made or if it is put on hold temporarily/permanently?

This appears to be the same for generations 6 and 8.
