Option to Set Local Configuration manager to ApplyAndMonitor or ApplyOnly
Current default is to set the local configuration manager in VMs to ApplyAndAutoCorrect, for some scenarios this can be detrimental since you may want to have a starting state and then make changes affected by the DSC config profiles. So a global or per VM option to set this to one of the other states is desirable to allow for changes that don't get backed out by DSC's next run.
Hi @MS-MatthewWalker ! This sounds like a pretty good idea to me. It shouldn't be too difficult to implement. I'll put aside some time in the next couple of weeks to get this done. Been a bit overloaded with DSC Resource Kit changes lately so haven't had so much time.
I can work on it, as I am also adding support for vTPMs into the VM config.
