Explore manual AGC for audio during video recording?

Yep, this would strongly benefit Nexus 5 audio capture because it can record pretty good audio when AGC is disabled (this can be tested with Smart Voice Recorder app, that allows to disable AGC in MIC settings). It would be nice to have a manual volume controll to adjust like manual focus but with the Smart Voice Recorder app does MIC settings, so one could adjust before starting to record a video.
