Please add .schematic format

There is no .schematic format to select sadly.

.schematic is a really old format that hasn't been used since Minecraft 1.12. It's been almost entirely replaced by .schem. That isn't to say .schematic support can't or won't happen, it's just not a very high priority right now.

This is only format i can get using voxelizer: https://drububu.com/miscellaneous/voxelizer/?out=sch Litematica used to work with this format but it gives me loading error now, even older version. So I'm trying to find a way to convert it somehow 😅

I'll look into it when I have time. In the meantime, I think WorldEdit still takes .schematic files, maybe try that.

Unfortunately I'm getting error on world edit too, im trying to find solution since 2 days xD i also found obj2schematic thing but litematica say file doesn't exist or missing permissions. Maybe Android corrupt files while copying idk, it's so annoying 😅

I figured out what's happening, Android downloader app that controls all downloads is corrupting file from voxelizer which give me .schematic.gz file instead of .schematic file and it's not working even unpacked or renamed. When i use voxelizer on pc browser it just give me .schematic file which works without issues. Android keeps making their users life more complicated. I know it's maybe wrong place to share my pain but i have no friends who would understand it xd

So it's not necessary anymore for you to add .schematic format because litematica can handle it without issues. What about 3d models like .obj or glb? Is it possible?

It's not impossible, but it would probably be out of scope for this project. Having to actually voxelize the 3D model would be a lot more challenging than simply converting from one voxel format to another. Given 3D model voxelizers already exist online (like the link above), I'm not sure it's worth the time to implement

@Fractal420 I couldn't find a good way to convert them so I've went ahead and implemented full support for reading and writing legacy .schematic files in my fork.

You can download the release containing this feature here: v1.3.1 Release

(This includes the new ClassicSchematicFormat integration for native conversion.)
