update to manifest.json

i deleted the first code since there was an error saying unknown manifest key: application. it works fine now.

I remember having to put this there for firefox compatibility. Which browser are you using? To my knowledge this wasn't a hard error, but rather just a warning in chromium-based ones. If that's still the case, I'd rather leave it the way it is now.
