What platform are you running Path of Building on?
Windows
How is Path of Building expected to behave?
Keeping the window open/editing my tree shouldn't crash the software.
How does Path of Building behave?
When I do just about anything, even leaving the screen open, after a bit (ranging from 30s to 5 mins) the software will crash with no error message though it will still be present in my task manager. Rarely, it will show a Lua error which I can dismiss but then will crash shortly after.
How to reproduce the issue
No response
PoB for PoE1 build code
Screenshots
Example of Lua error. These errors appear roughly 1 in every 10 crashes so unsure if they are directly related. PoB will crash shortly after dismissing the error.
What model GPU do you have?
Are any other programs crashing?
I have a RTX 4070 TI Super and no other programs crashing outside of a single unknown PoE crash today.
I have the same issue with the same GPU
Same issue occurring for me. Occasional lua errors that show like the above, but not necessarily before every crash. An instance of the POB2 process will remain in the Task Manager for each time it has crashed.
Note that I do not have to actually be interacting with the application for it to crash - it just does so after a seemingly random amount of time, even if just open on a second monitor.
I have no problems with other programs crashing as far as I'm aware.

Looking back through past crashes, it appears like the faulting modules are:

@FroggLeggss If you have a 14th generation Intel processor could you see if the problem goes away if you reduce the performance core ratio to 54x?
@akoenig42 You have a 14th gen Intel processor. Please try reducing the performance core ration to 54x.
@Nightblade Unfortunately, I ended up swapping out the processor as I had too many ephemeral issues that I couldn't pin down. Everything's been rock solid since I moved to a 9950x3d, but I can no longer replicate this issue. My apologies.
@Nightblade I had the exact same issue also on a 14th gen, changing this settings seems to have worked for me
