How is Path of Building expected to behave?

During passive tree comparison any changes from one tree to another should be visually indicated to quickly see at a glance what has changed.

How does Path of Building behave?

If in a specific mastery slot it got switched to another mastery there is no visual indication. Mastery icon is the same with no hue tint.
