When communicating updates, providing tech support and comparing build differences with friends. It can be unclear if we both on the same Weekly Beta Version
At the current time I cant actually see any period of time where 2.42.0 (Beta) would be built the same at any point in time. But if there was a becond beta built it would be hard to tell them apart.

Add the commit hash of a release to the Beta version
2.42.0 (Beta) daa8297 2.42.0.daa8297 (Beta) 2.42.0+daa8297 (Beta)
Or any similar method that meets your favourite versioning flavour

Great suggestion, it sounds like there are a lot more people using the beta this time around, so better versioning and at least a small automatic release note section is a good idea
Looks like this made it to 2.57 beta, it overflows the UI. Its not the linked PR. Still am happy
Yeah, that's not great, but it also might be more work than is worth it to fix unfortunately. I'll close this issue as completed though.
