NServiceBus and .NET Aspire

Open jpalac opened this issue 2 years ago • 5 comments

.NET Aspire is an opinionated, cloud-ready stack for building observable, production-ready, distributed applications.

NServiceBus endpoints can run under an Aspire AppHost orchestrator.

Here are some leading questions that we are interested in understanding more:

  • Are you currently using .NET Aspire? If so, is it just for development or also for production deployments?
  • What other .NET Aspire integrations are you using?
  • Do you use health checks?
  • Do you use telemetry?
  • Do you use deployment manifest to apply your changes to other environments?

Hi, it would certainly help onboarding with Multi-Start solutions. Would also be nice to see all the logs in one place, see the tracing across services (if open telemetry is supported already)

Could also help with pushing a distributed NSB app to test env or possibly production using CI/CD. Not upated on what the current story on that is for NSB.

Would love to see the ServiceControl/Pulse added to this example, so that we have a complete Aspire sample of endpoints and monitoring.

Currently just starting to use Aspire for local development. Haven't ventured into actual deployments. But being able to run the ServiceControl platform locally wihtin Aspire for development purposes would be very helpful.

@StephenWBertrand Thanks for the feedback. Is my understanding correct that your comment refers to the sample we have recently added to our docs website?

Hello, any news about integrating ServiceControl/Pulse to the Aspire sample project?

@sorgeca The sample has now been updated to include ServiceControl instances and ServicePulse.
