[BUG] Global Manga Reader settings not applying

Describe the bug When changing the global manga reader settings, the settings are sometimes not applied. It requires multiple attempts before it actually applies.

To Reproduce Manipulate any of the global reader settings, scroll down and hit "Apply Globally", and then press done. Go to any series and see if it applied.

Expected behaviour It should apply to all manga after changing and saving.
