Can the number if App Launch Buttons be increased for the hisense roku remote? Currently set to 10 and would like to have a few more rows, so like 16-20?

I intentionally limit the number of buttons allowed on the remote so that it can maintain a reasonable likeness to the real physical remote control, so I'm hesitant to add even 2 more. 10 more seems quite excessive, but I can be persuaded if you're insistent.
Can I talk you into doing something like this instead?

Understandable, my main thought was potentially having the remote "grow" longer as more apps are added.
Another options would be if I had a way to remove the buttons entirely and have a second remote with all my channel options. Currently I don't see a way to hide the buttons without just making them a dark black button, maybe you have a way I just don't know about?
Potentially a different open, but is there any way to customize the HDMI # buttons to a personalized text or image?

It already does that! 😄 If you look at the example image I posted above, you will see that it has grown to fit all of the buttons.

Yes! In the example link I posted in my reply, you can see this exact functionality. Both the remote, and the panel next to it are separate Firemote cards.
To get that special "App Launcher" remote, simply choose App Launcher 1 from the "Remote Style:" drop down menu.
You can actually choose ANY remote style you want! It doesn't have to be the same kind of remote that came with your system!

Yes! Take a look at the YAML card setup options in the Firemote README.MD file for instructions on how to do that. You should find section in the chart that looks like this:
