Fix Karma/ts-node conflict, prettify code and update deps

Fixes #91 , and:

  • Removes some totally unused dependencies.
  • Updates all dependencies.
  • Adds dev dependency on prettier.
  • Runs prettier on all code to make it complaint.

There are NO behavioral, functional or API changes in this PR.

This is in preparation for next round of development for V0.2.0.
