@OICQ469 did you find any solutions on this? the cached video extension should be save as it is

here you can see my URL was originally in mp4 and the cached path also contains mp4

is this issue still active?

Getting the same error in MacOS builds. Android works fine.

@PogProp In our case, the files were being saved as .bin instead of .mp4. So I'm not sure if it is the same problem.

The issue with .bin is addressed here https://github.com/OutdatedGuy/cached_video_player_plus/issues/40 . We fixed it by setting the correct headers on server. It was more related with flutter_cache_manager and I wrote details to that repo on this comment and the one below it: https://github.com/Baseflow/flutter_cache_manager/issues/405#issuecomment-2574325885
