PythonQT and Paraview PythonQT Plugin

Open ghost opened this issue 10 years ago • 1 comments

Hello,

I've compiled and built the latest PythonQT from source in VS2013 with Python 2.7.3 and QT 5.4.1. I've had to do a few things to get it to build including:

  • Comment out the '#ifdef PY3K' clause in PythonQT.cpp, line 835
  • Add /bigobj to the project properties in Visual Studio

Now I am trying to compile the Paraview PythonQT Plugin and I get the following linker error:

3>pqPythonQtPlugin.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "void __cdecl PythonQt_init_QtBindings(void)" (?PythonQt_init_QtBindings@@YAXXZ) referenced in function "protected: void __cdecl pqPythonQtPlugin::initialize(void)" (?initialize@pqPythonQtPlugin@@IEAAXXZ) 3>C:\Users\eric.g.younkin\Documents\PCL_ParaView\ParaView-v4.3.1-source\build\bin\Debug\PythonQtPlugin.dll : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals

Would you have any idea what that is from?

Maybe it needs an older version of PythonQt? because I'm guessing the "PythonQt_init_QtBindings" it's looking for might actually be PythonQt_QtAll::init

Unfortunately, I use neither MSVC/VS nor Paraview (Never heard of it..) so I probably won't be much help.
