I am an active Home Assistant user. The Home Assistant community is huge and growing rapidly – with millions of users worldwide.
Most of us make buying decisions strongly based on Home Assistant compatibility.

Proposed Change

Requested feature

• Expose NFC device ID or name via API.

Example use cases

• NFC tag used by Daniel = open lock + turn on lights + disable alarm.
• NFC tag used by child = send notification.

Benefit

Home Assistant users rely heavily on NFC-based automation – this would be a game changer.
