make "Continue Recording" a little easier

It's not a big problem, it would just make my a little bit easier. ;-) Currently I record my biking every day. It usually starts with my commute in the morning. Then I stop recording. And in the afternoon I select that track and click on "continue recording" of that track. It goes on with every additional trip I make that day.
Describe the solution you'd like
That works good - but if there would be a second recording button on the home screen of the app, it would be even easier, something like: "Continue last track" To not confuse other people, this might only be shown, when there's already a track for that day available - or only visible after checking an option.
