Migrate Slack invite page as a part of main website
Currently there is a separate Heroku web application to enable Slack invite, should be moved to the main website.
Happy to have suggestions about should we stick to the same design or it would be better to adapt the look and feel of the main website.
@tapasweni-pathak I can work on this, and I guess it's better to adapt to the look and feel of the main website.
@tapasweni-pathak @vaibhavsingh97 @nikhita I guess after our custom-registration is ready, and since then we will have an email-id of the user once signed up, we can simply send the mail for invite there. Do you guys agree to it or should a make a completely new view for adding the email-id again and requesting for invite. For now, I can only think of one use-case where the user has not signed-up/signed-in and still wants an invite. Let me know your thoughts on this?
@anubhakushwaha @tapasweni-pathak @nikhita I think their is no point for having the new view for slack invite. User just have to go to got to profile and can request invite. Also, If the user don't want to login and still want to join the slack group we can then give option during sign up/ sign in. What's your opinion on this?

@anubhakushwaha Sending after registration to the main website sounds good! But we need to have these two separate for a while. We will continue to link Join us on the main web page with a slack inviter page which will be part of the website. You have already taken it up! 💯
@vaibhavsingh97 User registration and sign in/up is completely different than allowing them to join the Slack channel. With the user login on the main website they will help us build a curated list of open source projects and tag them, we will enable search on that. With the Slack channel they can get the answers to the questions they need and we provide them the medium to interact with admins/mentors/contributors or discuss anything in general. Design is 👍 but we need to continue to use the same color theme. No experiments there. :(
I don't have any plan of having a forum with the website, I think we have discussed this further. Would be happy if anyone has any suggestions on this.
