Cannot replace quickstep

  • Android Version: 9 (1.5.19) - One, 935_GEN_PACK-1.184854.2.199731.1
  • Custom ROM: None
  • Install Source: F-Droid

Description

I cannot replace OpenLauncher as default start-app (Launcher). It works only until the phone is stopped for a certain time. The system seems to kill openlauncher process and replaces it with quickstep.

Log

Will get from phone when needed.

Not sure if this is an Android 9 issue or OpenLauncher issue. Will need to check other launchers.

This sounds impossible on vanilla Android or LineageOS, what phone do you have?
