Use `prove` to run tests

More in line with how Perl stuff is usually tested. Also harness has better output options and different formats.

  • [ ] change test files to be self-runnable instead of being used in unittests.pl
  • [ ] (optional) rename them to *.t
  • [ ] set up Makefile to run prove
  • [ ] remove unittests.pl

Btw, how tests are currently run on Windows? Do you need a full Perl installation with Test::More etc?
