what(): std::bad_alloc Problem Gate
I downloaded the vGATE version 8.2. Whenever I try running a simulation with very large numbers of primaries to reduce my uncertianty the simulation abort after running for at least 10 hours with the problem report terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' what(): std::bad_alloc Aborted (core dumped) The Virtual maschine is dedeciated to only Gate and has 200 GB main memory and 30 GB RAM SSH. Do anyone have any idea, what the problem might be?
Sorry for the late response. I suspect that this issue has nothing to do with vGate. We have had a bunch of similar reports about memory leaks in v8.2. Could you have a look at #257, #305 and #278 and check if your simulation is similar? If yes, then I have good hope that your issue is solved in the upcoming v9.0 release. If not, could you provide more details, e.g. provide a zip-file with simulation workspace (only mac and data, no output) so that we can try to reproduce?
