Openfeign using NTLM proxy to reach external rest service ... how to do this ?

Can any help with this scenario: SpringBoot Openfeign client running behind a coorporate fire wall. I need to connect to and external AWS based rest service. I need to go thru the company's "NTLM" proxy to get outside the firewall to the AWS based rest service. It seems that there is no way that I know of to use the NTLM fire wall , i.e. how to set the ntlm user and password. I am using SpringBoot's default OpenFeign client. Thanks for anyone that knows anything about this.
